children's ministries

At Valley Church, we know that the experience that your kids have is very important to you.  That’s why we’ve worked hard to provide the cleanest, safest, and most enjoyable experience possible for little ones.  After all, we’ve got kids too! We have a team of leaders and volunteers who prayerfully prepare weekly to give your child the best experience possible when they are here.  So please come, bring your little ones, and give our children's ministries a try!  We fully believe you won't regret it!

FOr who?

We have a dedicated team of volunteers for our nursery (ValleyTots). During both of our services, 9:30AM and 11:00AM, we provide an enjoyable experience for all of our tots ages 0-4 years.


Not only do we have a dedicated team of volunteers for our littlest ones, we also have a team on Sunday mornings for our Valleykids (Kindergarten-3rd graders). K-3rd graders will be together, and our team will lead your kids through crafts, music, games, and a Bible lesson. On 5th Sundays, we give our leaders and volunteers a reprieve, and we do not have Valleykids that morning. They are welcome to join their families in the sanctuary!


For our 4th-5th graders (Intermediate), we have a dedicated group that meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM-8:00PM. This targeted ministry is designed to help them transition from Elementary to Middle school, while developing spiritual practices that will benefit them in the future!

what to do when we arrive?

Each Sunday morning, you will need to head to the Welcome Center (the room off the gray canopy door) to check-in your children heading to Valleytots or Valleykids. If you are checking in for the first time, there is someone there to assist you in getting signed up! This process is for the safety of your children. It allows us to know more about your child and how we can contact you in case the need arises. When you need to pick up your child, go to the Valleytots or Valleykids room (whichever they are in), show your badge that will be printed out when you check-in, and you're all good to go! We know you and your children won't regret being a part of our children's ministries!


We require that all kids are registered and checked-in by a parent or guardian for their safety and security. For new or visiting families, in order to enjoy a quick, smooth check-in process, please register in advance below.

Wednesday

evenings

Due to the construction of our new children's wing, we will not be meeting in April and May on Wednesday evenings. 


On the 2nd Wednesdays of each month, we have Family Night. At 5:30PM, we have dinner, then from 6:30-7:30PM, our Valleykids meet downstairs for an evening of fun and games! Our other ministries (Intermediate, Student Ministries, and our Adult Prayer group) also meet during that time. 

Kids camp

Every summer, we have a 4 day camp for our Valleykids (those who have completed Kindergarten through those that completed 3rd grade in May '24). This year our camp will be Monday, June 17-Thursday, June 20 from 6:00-7:30PM. We will begin registration closer to June!
